UNM United Way Leadership Giving

Lead­er­ship Givers are a key leg of the UNM United Way Cam­paign. Any­one giv­ing a gift of $500 or greater, which equals about $21 per pay­check for bi-weekly employ­ees, is con­sid­ered a Lead­er­ship Giver. You may already be giv­ing at this level to a char­i­ta­ble orga­ni­za­tion, and if so—by rout­ing your allo­ca­tion through the UNM United Way Cam­paign, you gain all the ben­e­fits of lead­er­ship giv­ing and your des­ig­nated char­i­ta­ble orga­ni­za­tion still gets 100 per­cent of your donation.

In addi­tion to help­ing our com­mu­nity, Lead­er­ship Givers enjoy many per­sonal ben­e­fits through­out the year includ­ing: admis­sion to spe­cial events (Iso­topes, Bal­loon Fiesta, and Explora), invi­ta­tions to pro­fes­sional speaker series, com­mu­nity agency vis­its and the oppor­tu­nity to net­work with oth­ers who share the same desire for change.

Dur­ing UNM’s United Way Cam­paign, the newly formed His­pano Phil­an­thropic Soci­ety along with the Young Lead­ers Soci­ety and Women in Phil­an­thropy will be host­ing infor­ma­tional lun­cheons.  Any­one who con­tributed to the United Way Cam­paign last year will receive an invi­ta­tion to learn more about Lead­er­ship Giving.
