Lobo Club Golf Tournament Set for June 22–23 at Twin Warriors Golf Club

The Annual Lobo Club Golf Tour­na­ment is set for Fri­day and Sat­ur­day, June 22–23 at Twin War­riors Golf Club. The tour­na­ment gets under­way Fri­day with reg­is­tra­tion at 11 a.m., fol­lowed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a shot­gun start at 1 p.m. The day’s fes­tiv­i­ties also include a din­ner recep­tion at the Hyatt Tamaya.

On Sat­ur­day, the fes­tiv­i­ties begin at 7:30 a.m. with break­fast, a shot­gun start at 8 a.m. and a post-event bar­beque. A lim­ited num­ber of spots are avail­able at the rate of $400 per per­son or $800 for a team of two.

The fundraiser is a great way to help sup­port UNM’s 21 ath­letic pro­grams and more than 450 Lobo student-athletes. Fans that can’t par­tic­i­pate but who still want to sup­port the cause can sign up for hole spon­sor­ships, which are avail­able for $300 each. Show your Lobo pride and sup­port student-athlete schol­ar­ships with a hole-sponsor sign. Signs will be promi­nently dis­played and will be seen by over 100 fel­low Lobo supporters.

“The annual Lobo Club Golf Tour­na­ment is a tra­di­tion that has helped raise funds for student-athlete schol­ar­ships for many years. In addi­tion to being a great fundraiser, it’s also a time for Lobo Club mem­bers and fans to enjoy two fun-filled days with other Lobo fans, our coaches, admin­is­tra­tion and Lobo Club staff,” said Lee De Leon, asso­ciate ath­letic direc­tor for Devel­op­ment and exec­u­tive direc­tor of the Lobo Club.
