MatLab Site License Renewed for 2012–13 Academic Year

The UNM site license for Matlab has been renewed for the 2012–13 academic year. MatLab is high-level software used primarily by math, science, engineering, economic students and faculty, and also business majors.

The software, which is available at no charge to faculty and students, allows students to do computations and interact with programming languages like Fortran and C++. MatLab is also used to compute math and statistics, computational finance, computational biology and generates complex mathematical code in user-friendly formats.

The software is available at IT Downloads. To log-in, users will need instructions and the activation keys, which are accessible with UNM NetID authentication.
