Comadre a Comadre Hosts ‘Celebration of Life’ Event

The Uni­ver­sity of New Mexico’s Comadre a Comadre pro­gram in the Col­lege of Edu­ca­tion hosts its Fourth Bien­nial Cel­e­bra­tion of Life” event on Fri­day, Oct. 5 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Ball­rooms B&C in the UNM Stu­dent Union Build­ing. The event is a cel­e­bra­tion to honor the coura­geous women and their loved ones who have faced breast cancer.

Join Comadre a Comadre for a casual evening of food, door prizes, raf­fles and live music & enter­tain­ment fea­tur­ing Los Tri­nos and Mar del Azules. Every­one is invited. The event is free and free park­ing will also be available.

Comadre a Comadre program’s mis­sion is to empower the lives of Hispanic/Latina women and their loved ones through advo­cacy, edu­ca­tion, infor­ma­tion, resources, and sup­port about breast health and breast can­cer. For more infor­ma­tion, visit: Comadre a Comadre.
