UNM’s Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center Hosts Free Film Screening

A free screen­ing of five short films from the 1930s pro­duced by the New Mex­ico Depart­ment of Health is set for Tues­day, Oct. 23, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in the Domenici Cen­ter audi­to­rium. The films are titled, “Malaria in New Mex­ico,” “Com­mu­nity San­i­ta­tion in New Mex­ico,” “A Well Baby Home Visit,” and “Mate­ri­als Car­ried in the New Mex­ico Pub­lic Health Nurse’s Bag and San­i­tary Improve­ments in New Mexico.

UNM’s Health Sci­ences Library and Infor­mat­ics Cen­ter is host­ing the film view­ing in part­ner­ship with New Mexico’s State Records Cen­ter and Archives.
