The Rosemont Leadership Institute (RLI), in collaboration with the University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University, is preparing exceptional students for leadership roles. RLI invites applications from high school juniors who have strong academic records, plan to attend UNM or NMSU, are passionate about national/global issues and are determined to be agents of change.
Students will participate in a two week academy, one week at New Mexico State University (NMSU) in Las Cruces prior their senior year and one week at the University of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque after their senior year with the purpose of developing the skills and attributes of a successful global leader. The program is open to current high school juniors. Enrollment is limited to 30.
Upon successful completion of the academy and full participation in the Rosemont Challenge, the Rosemont Leadership Institute will award the student with a $25,000 stipend to attend either NMSU or UNM.* The stipend will be paid over a four year period contingent upon meeting annual program commitments/requirements and maintaining enrollment at either school.
