UNM Day at NM Legislature

Tomor­row,  Tues­day the 29th, is UNM Day at the State Capi­tol when we will show­case our peo­ple and pro­grams.  Thanks to every­one who will spend their day in the Round­house on behalf of our U.

Both houses have sched­uled their floor work around 10 a.m.

House Health, Gov­ern­ment and Indian Affairs will meet at 8:30 a.m. in Rm 309 with H33 Com­mu­nity Health Needs Assess­ments on their agenda.

Our main focus will be in Sen­ate Finance, Rm 322 at 1:30 p.m. when higher edu­ca­tion, both the insti­tu­tions and the depart­ment, will be heard.

Also tomor­row after­noon,  Sen­ate Pub­lic Affairs will meet at 2 p.m. in Rm 321 with the fol­low­ing biils of inter­est on the agenda: S86  Pub­lic employ­ees aver­age salary con­tri­bu­tions; S89 Pub­lic prop­erty nam­ing process; S178  Can­cer pre­ven­tion research services.

On Thurs­day,  House Labor will meet at 1:30 p.m. in Rm 305 with H167 Teacher Licen­sure Con­tent Knowl­edge on the agenda.
