The Student Success Summit: Foundations of Excellence (FoE) Midpoint Review is set on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 8:15 a.m. to noon in Ballrooms A and B of the Student Union Building (SUB). Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
The summit includes a keynote address by Dr. George Kuh, “Implementation Matters: Insuring That Promising Practices Are Effective.” Also featured are presentations from each of the nine Foundations of Excellence (FoE) committees.
“The goal of the summit is to share recommendations with the campus community on how to improve students’ first year experience from the various FoE dimensions that include students, faculty, staff and community members,” said Jennifer Gomez-Chavez, director, Student Academic Success.
