UNM Regents unanimously affirmed Chaouki Abdallah as the 22nd President of the University of New Mexico. Thank you President Abdallah for all you have done and will continue to do here at The University. 
Celebrate Kindness Week Feb. 11-17, 2018! The annual event to promote acts of kindness was launched with free donuts and coffee outside Hodgin Hall. Festivities continue Monday, Feb. 11.
The New Mexico State Legislature officially recognized Jan. 29, 2018 as UNM Day at the Roundhouse. Several faculty members were recognized and there were informational booths setup all around the Rotunda. 
The Smith Plaza renovation is now officially underway! A group of university leaders, including two students, helped turn over the ceremonious first shovels of dirt at a groundbreaking ceremony organized by Student Affairs. 
Congratulations to Selena, the social media fan favorite for the #UNMCapOff competition! And good luck to all the #UNMGRAD17, your alma mater is proud of you!
