Christmas in July? Nope! Just jolly elves welcoming new students at Discovery Day. 
Did you smell the burning incense? Did you hear the beating drums? The Curanderismo Class at UNM is officially underway! 
The class on traditional medicine in the Southwest and Mexico begins Monday, July 16 with a special ceremony taking place between the Alumni Chapel and Scholes Hall. 
was buried at the UNM North Golf Course to preserve the history of the open space partnership between Bernalillo County and the University. Some of the items included were a copy of the Daily Lobo, 2018 graduation program, official presidential installation coin and Bernie the County's mascot. It will be unearthed in the year 2068.  
Campus sure is feeling deserted, we're already looking forward to students being back for summer classes starting June 4.
