- Assess overall communications to help focus and guide overall University efforts for internal / external audiences
- Develop Newsroom content that strategizes and helps to develop recovery efforts (what are we doing to ensure a safe and vibrant campus community upon return)
- Revisit community engagement and explore meaningful ways to highlight efforts across the board including main and branch campuses and incorporate into recovery
- Discuss and develop plans to utilize President’s platform (Twitter presence community involvement / meetings (Chambers, economic development, etc.). Efforts should also include President’s Weekly Perspective and Provost’s Academic Dispatch, and select use of listservs for general messaging
- Develop media strategy encompassing available resources and strategize efforts such as guest appearances on broadcast (TV and radio when possible) that helps position University recovery
- Discuss ideas with administration’s planned goals to move forward and incorporate into recovery efforts in terms of communications. How can we adapt our efforts into overarching University goals?
- Discuss ideas and content possibilities focusing on enrollment and improving bottom line in terms of student numbers
- Utilize town hall possibilities to benefit University-wide efforts related to community engagement and messaging for internal / external audiences. How institution is viewed within community and statewide will play a key role in further development of recovery efforts
