The University of New Mexico's Facilities Management (FM) will restrict access to the UNM Duck Pond July 6 through 17 in order to continue maintenance and cleaning activities that began prior to the move to limited operations in March.
The area around the pond will be fenced off for safety, however adjacent sidewalk access will remain open and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution if traveling around the pond as maintenance vehicles will operating on the grounds.
The goal of continued maintenance is to ensure the best possible environment for wildlife, as well as provide the best experience for campus users.
