UNM main campus entrances, roads and most parking lots will be temporarily closed for a special event on Sunday, April 10 from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) is providing the following information for commuters.

Here’s what you need to know:

Entrance and Roadway Closures
The 2022 Lobo Triathlon bike course is scheduled to route through campus and will require the temporary closure of Redondo, Las Lomas, Campus and Redondo Court on Sunday, April 10 from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Additionally, the following entrances to main campus will also be closed for this event:

  • Stanford and Central
  • Princeton and Central
  • Yale and Central
  • MLK and University
  • Las Lomas and University
  • Las Lomas and Yale
  • Lomas and Stanford

Parking Closures
Vehicle access to and from main campus parking lots (A Lots, B Lots, and C Lots) will be restricted and/or unavailable during this event due to the road closures. Vehicles parked in these lots may not be moved until the event ends and roadways reopen.  

Accessing Campus + Alternative Parking
For those needing access to campus during the closure, plan ahead and allow for extra time to accommodate for travel and parking. Limited parking will be available in the following areas:

* Lomas Structure Access
Access to the Lomas Parking Structure will still be available to permit holders from the Girard and Campus intersection (going westbound on Campus). There will be a one-way exit from the Lomas Structure westbound (right turn only) on Campus to Lomas.
