The University of New Mexico National Security Studies Program (NSSP) is hosting the spring 2014 symposium, “U.S. National Security and Individual Privacy---Legal, Technical and Ethical Challenges.”

UNM Provost Chaouki Abdallah and Regent Lt. Gen. Bradley Hosmer (USAF retired) are opening the event. “Over the last year we have seen unusual challenges to important parts of our national security institutions,” Hosmer said. “Some of these challenges will be discussed at the NSSP Symposium, and the speakers are now or have been directly involved with the topic.”
