A Taste of Anderson 2014 presented by the UNM Anderson School of Management will feature more of Albuquerque’s top restaurants than ever before. On Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Hotel Albuquerque, top chefs from 24 of the city’s premier restaurants will present an incredible display of their finest dishes, dessert creations and libations. The annual creative culinary event benefits the students and programs of the Johnson Marketing Center at UNM Anderson.

For only $125, guests will enjoy gourmet cuisine from Artichoke Café, Casa Rondena, Chows, Cooperage, El Patron, Elaine’s, Fan Tang, Farina, Farina Alto, Gardunos at Hotel Albuquerque, Kellys Brew Pub, Marcello’s Chophouse, Mykonos, Nick and Jimmy’s, Nob Hill Bar and Grill, Ranchers Club, Savoy, Scalo, Scarpas, Seasons Rotisserie & Grill, The Daily Grind, Yanni’s, Zinc Wine Bar and Bistro, and UNMfood powered by Chartwells.

Debbie Johnson says the name of this popular event came from a room that she and her husband Rick had at their ad agency called the creative kitchen where they “cooked up” creative ideas.

“I am very grateful to Albuquerque’s finest restaurants and all our generous sponsors,” Johnson said. “They keep Rick’s dreams alive by helping Anderson students learn the communication, negotiation and motivation skills necessary to succeed in business.”

The Johnson Marketing Center at UNM Anderson is the perfect pairing of outstanding education with real-world excellence, made possible by the community partners who add to the recipe with their continued support. A special thank you goes out to Chef de Cuisine sponsors DMC Logistics and Los Alamos National Bank; Master Chef sponsors Bank of the West, Sandia Peak Tram, and Doug and Sarah Brown; Sous Chef sponsors Aon Risk Solutions, Dekker Perich Sabatini, French Funerals & Cremation, Kirtland Federal Credit Union, NM Gas Company, Zia Trust, Inc., and Bill and Suzanne Ebel.
