Recently, renowned Native American architect Johnpaul Jones sat down with UNM Live's Benson Hendrix to discuss his talk, "Indigenous Design: Emerging Gifts," which he delivered as part of the Indigenous Architecture lecture series in the UNM School of Architecture and Planning. Jones has a 40-year career as an architect and founding partner of Jones & Jones. His design philosophy emerged from his Cherokee-Choctaw ancestors, which connects him to the natural, animal, spirit and human worlds.
