The University of New Mexico Art Museum features "Bird" in conjunction with the 41st Annual John Donald Robb Composer's Symposium in the Media Gallery Friday-Sunday, March 23-April 29.

"Bird" is an interactive project by localStyle (Marlena Novak and Jay Alan Yim) in collaboration with jesus duran. It combines video and sound and uses infrared sensor technology to track visitors in the gallery space and respond to their presence in real time.

A public talk by Novak, Yim, and duran will be held at the Art Museum, Tuesday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m.

The UNM Art Museum is located in the Center for the Arts and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is closed on Sunday and Monday. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5. Paid parking is available at the Cornell Visitor's Parking Structure.
