The University of New Mexico Board of Regents conducts its annual budget summit Thursday, March 22 at 9 a.m. in Ballroom B of the Student Union Building, located on UNM’s main campus.

The board will consider UNM's budget for Fiscal Year 2019 and will approve tuition and fee rates for main campus, branches and differentials. Public comment will be considered during open session.

President Garnett S. Stokes will provide a brief introduction and remarks followed by comments from the Dean's Council including Craig White, dean, Anderson School of Management and Geraldine Forbes, dean, School of Architecture & Planning. Information items on each of the branch campuses, presented by Dr. Jeronimo Dominguez, will follow.

Action items will be presented by Dr. Paul Roth - executive vice president and chancellor for Health Sciences; Eddie Nunez and Robert Robinson - Athletics; Rich Wood and David Harris - main campus Budget Leadership Team Overview and funding priorities; Norma Allen and Nicole Dopson - FY19 Budget scenario; Dorothy Anderson - compensation and benefits; and Terry Babbitt - tuition proposal.

Additional comments will be provided by the deans, faculty, staff, ASUNM and GPSA; SFRB Recommendation – Student Fee Review Board representatives; Mandatory Student Fees Proposal – Norma Allen and Nicole Dopson.
