The University of New Mexico is partnering with other state institutions to inform students about addiction and mental health careers.
High school students and college undergraduates are invited to attend the youth forum on April 14 from 1 to 5 p.m. on the third floor of the UNM Domenici Education Center North.
The forum is a collaboration with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals and New Mexico partners - including the NM Human Services Department Behavioral Health Services Division and the UNM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Community Behavioral Health Division.
The forum is open to students from around the state, through a partnership with four satellite locations: Western New Mexico University, NMSU, ENMU-Roswell and New Mexico Highlands University.
NAADAC will offer continuing education hours for professionals attending the event.
For more information, visit the forum website or contact the event coordinator.
