Garbalogy: Our dirty love affair with trash, by Edward Humes.

The 2014-15 Lobo Reading Experience committee is in the process of making its final selection and needs your help. Voting is underway for two finalists including Moonwalking with Einstein by Joshua Foer and Garbalogy: Our dirty love affair with trash, by Edward Humes. Faculty, staff and students may vote on either selection.

"Moonwalking" with Einstein by Joshua Foer.

“Moonwalking with Einstein” is the blockbuster phenomenon that charts an amazing journey of the mind while revolutionizing our concept of memory. An instant bestseller that is poised to become a classic, “Moonwalking with Einstein” recounts Foer's yearlong quest to improve his memory under the tutelage of top "mental athletes."

In “Garbology,” Humes investigates trash — what’s in it; how much we pay for it; how we manage to create so much of it; and how some families, communities, and even nations are finding a way back from waste to discover a new kind of prosperity.
