El Centro de la Raza presents a Latina/o Graduate Student Brown Bag, "From Albuquerque to Chiapas: Indigenous Planning in the Americas," Wednesday, April 13 from noon-1 p.m. in El Centro's conference room. Three graduate students – Henry Jake Foreman, Christopher Ramirez and Yolanda Teran – who participated in the Indigenous Planning Exchange (IPEX) in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, will present.
Additionally, they will also their own experience and research in indigenous language and cultural preservation in Ecuador, organizing with youth in healthy lifestyles, and also talk about Chicana/o planning.
