The Mexican Student Association, Movimiento Estudiantil Chicana/o de Aztlan, Raza Graduate Student Association and UNM Dream Team invite all to participate in "UNM Stands with Immigrants," Thursday, Sept. 15 from 7-8 p.m. in the plaza between the UNM Bookstore and George Pearl Hall (School of Architecture & Planning).

In partnership with the New Mexico Dreamers in Action, UNM students are planning the candlelight vigil for the Student Day of Action along with other colleges from Las Vegas, Santa Fe and other communities across New Mexico. Students and allies are showing support for New Mexican immigrants to have licenses, be educated and not live in fear in the state. They seek co-sponsorship from other student clubs, campus departments or community groups who would like to support and/or speak at the vigil. UNM student clubs also invites CNM and local high school students to join the event.

Show support for immigrants at the candlelight vigil.
