The University of New Mexico’s El Centro de la Raza is accepting applications for their El Puente Fellowships program. The El Puente Fellowships offer a select group of students’ access to a two-semester program that prepares them for opportunities at the graduate level.

Throughout the program, students work with graduate mentors and faculty to increase understanding and experience of academic research.

Participants will also have the opportunity to grow and develop relationships in the community of fellow El Puente scholars. As students develop their research they will have the seminar space to rely on their colleagues for input and critiques.

Prior research experience is not necessary, and DACA eligible or non-eligible, as well as Dreamers’ students are encouraged to apply. The priority deadline to submit applications is June 26.
