The Anderson School of Management, the Executive Vice President of Administration, and the Executive Vice President of Health Sciences sponsor scholarship opportunities for UNM staff employees and faculty interested in attending the Anderson School of Management's Executive MBA (EMBA) Program.

The EMBA program is a 25-month, on-campus weekend program for those with at least five years of significant work experience. The program begins once each year in late June. Classes meet every other weekend on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. The next class will begin on June 22, 2012.

Additionally, an EMBA Open House for interested faculty and staff for the Anderson School of Management's Executive MBA program will be held Friday, March 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm. The EMBA program is a 25-month, on-campus weekend program for those with at least five years of significant work experience. EMBA program staff will be talk about the program, answer questions and discuss scholarship opportunities. Current EMBA students will also be on hand to discuss the program. The Open House will be held in GSM, Room 318 (Building 87). A light lunch will be available.

To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must first meet the admissions criteria for the EMBA program.

UNM staff are eligible to apply for one of two full scholarships which will pay 100 percent of the EMBA program costs (less tuition remission) for the length of the program.

UNM staff and faculty are eligible to apply for a partial scholarship which will pay all but $2,200 per semester (after tuition remission) for the length of the EMBA program.

These scholarship programs serve as a demonstration of UNM's and the Anderson School of Management's commitment to provide career development opportunities for staff and faculty. The University is fortunate to have such a talented and motivated staff and faculty and is committed to supporting their career development.
