University of New Mexico main campus faculty, including tenured and tenure-track faculty, full-time lecturers, emeriti, and clinical and research faculty are invited to submit a proposal to teach a first-year course of your own design in the First-Year Learning Communities in fall 2014.  Faculty from central campus, School of Law and Health Sciences Center are included in this invitation.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Monday, Dec. 2.

The invitation is available on the Academic Communities Proposal website where you will find links to more information, proposal guidelines and the on-line proposal submission form.

First-Year Learning Community Proposal Workshops Schedule:

* Main Campus: Wednesday Nov. 6 from 2 - 3 p.m. at the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), UAEC B24

* North Campus: Friday, Nov. 8 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at HSC DCWest, Room B114 (basement level next to the coffee cart in Domenici West)
