Food Truck Festivals of America is recruiting student volunteers for the 2nd Annual Great New Mexico Food Truck Festival on April 9, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Balloon Museum, 9201 Balloon Museum NE.

Food Truck Festivals of America was founded in 2012 and has grown to be the largest food truck festival touring company in the U.S. producing over 40 festivals to date. The company’s goal is not only to introduce communities across the country to the booming phenomena of gourmet food trucks and craft beer, but also to support the small business owners who own them.

Food Truck Festivals of America is looking for student volunteers responsible for set up and take down, ticketing, t-shirt sales, surveying guests and being a truck liaison.

Students will benefit from working the festival in numerous ways such as: receiving community service hours, working at a large event, social media at the event, community relations and working in the communications field in general.

All volunteers will receive a free Food Truck Festivals of America t-shirt, as well as a free lunch. Students from all degree programs are encouraged to volunteer.

All students interested in volunteering can fill out a quick application on FTFA’s website.
