The University of New Mexico Global Education Office seeks applications for its 2nd Annual UNM International Cook-Off, which is set for Friday, Nov. 21 from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Student Union Building Ballrooms. The application deadline is Friday, Oct. 24. This “Iron-Chef” style competition headlines UNM International Education Week.
Last year, the Cook-Off attracted over 400 attendees. Students compete in teams of six in a live cooking competition to showcase their country, region or sovereign nation cuisine. The first place team wins $200 dining dollars for each team member. Other dining dollar amounts will be awarded for second, third and People's Choice winners. There is no cost to participate.
