The Rewards & Recognition Committee of the Staff Council is calling for nominations for the 2013 Gerald W. May Outstanding Staff Award. This presidential award was made possible by funds earmarked by former President Gerald W. May for staff recognition. The funds are used by the Staff Council to recognize outstanding staff members who have made significant contributions to the University. Any regular UNM staff employee who does not have faculty status and has completed the probationary period is eligible for nomination. There will be a minimum of three awards. Each recipient will receive a cash award of $1,000 (minus applicable deductions) and a plaque. The award ceremony will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12 time TBA.
