German Human Rights Official to Visit UNM

Markus Loening, German Government Commissioner for Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid at the German Foreign Office will be at UNM on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 4-5 p.m. in the Ortega Hall Reading Room, 3rd floor. He will lead a roundtable discussion about topics of common concern between Germany and the United States. Loening will be accompanied by German Consul General in Houston, Roland Herrmann. The event is free and open to the public.
While in New Mexico, he also plans to visit Gov. Susana Martinez and other governmental officials.
