The University of New Mexico Graduate Resource Center and Graduate Student Funding Initiative launch their Fall Schedule on Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. The event is being held at the Graduate Resource Center in room 1057 of Mesa Vista Hall (north end just east of the blue fountain). Information, dessert and beverages will be provided.
The GSFI schedule includes sessions for each of the four certificate programs offered:
* Grant-writing and Proposal Development - first of 11 sessions is Aug. 27
* PI Eligibility - first of 11 sessions is Aug. 28
* Responsible Conduct of Research - first of 10 sessions is Aug. 28
* Research Compliance - first of 10 sessions is Sept. 6
The first session, "Hands-on Workshop to Identify Sources of Funding," is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. Sessions for group proposal development working on narratives and budgets with peer reviews are part of the schedule, with the first organizing session scheduled for Friday, Sept. 7. Nearly all sessions will be held in the Centennial Science and Engineering Library, lower level 2.
