The UNM Pre-pharmacy Society is partnering with several other pre-health organizations to launch the first Health Professions Symposium (HPS).

It will feature more than 50 workshops and information tables. Dr. Leslie Morrison, vice chancellor for academic affairs at UNM Health Science Center (HSC) will give a keynote address discussing the future of healthcare needs in New Mexico.

The event is open to high school and college students interested in entering a health profession and provides opportunities for students to network and grow professionally and academically.

The HPS will be held Saturday, Mar. 25 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the UNM SUB. There is a $5 registration fee and participants must sign up before the event.
