The 22nd annual New Mexico Higher Education Assessment and Retention Conference will take place Feb. 25 and 26, providing faculty, staff, and administrators to share ideas about assessment and retention initiatives that promote student success.

The conference, titled “Using Assessment Outcomes to Inform Campus Decisions,” includes guest speaker/presenter Mark Milliron, co-founder and chief learning officer of Civitas Learning, an organization is committed to assisting students in their education journeys and helping them to finish strong.

Milliron is an award-winning leader, author, speaker, and consultant who has worked with many universities, community colleges, K-12 schools, foundations, corporations, associations, and government agencies across the country and around the world.

NMHEAR hopes to find a wide variety of innovative assessment and retention presentations by having faculty, staff and administrators share their methods and how well those methods have worked.

Proposals for the NMHEAR Conference must be submitted by Friday, Nov. 22 using the online form.
