Rosalie Otero

The University of New Mexico Honors College hosts a last lecture by Honors College Associate Dean Rosalie Otero, titled "Everything I Needed to Know I Learned in the Honors Program," on Friday, May 3 from 4 - 6 p.m. in the Bobo Room at Hodgin Hall. A reception follows.

Otero provided 25 years of devoted service to the University Honors Program. It is through her efforts that the Honors College was founded, a development that will greatly benefit UNM.

Otero is currently president of the Western Regional Honors Council, has served as president of the National Collegiate Honors Council, and enabled UNM to be the first university to offer tenure to Honors professors.
