The University of New Mexico’s Health Sciences Center Book Club discusses Center Cannot Hold: My Journey Through Madness, a book by Elyn Saks on Thursday, June 22 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Dean’s Large Conference Room on the first floor of Fitz Hall on UNM's North Campus.

The novel is about Saks, an esteemed professor, lawyer, and psychiatrist who has suffered from schizophrenia for most of her life. The eloquent, moving story of her life, from the first time that she heard voices speaking to her as a young teenager, through learning to live on her own as an adult in an often-terrifying world.
