Get ready for a new look and enhanced features if you are posting or looking for a job through the University’s job site. On April 3, the applicant tracking and hiring system, UNMJobs, will begin showcasing a significant update of its services. Behind the scenes, a whole new software package will be guiding the experience of job applicants, hiring managers, search committees, and employment transaction areas.

Jobs processed using the new system will be within the following employment areas: Faculty, HSC Faculty, Staff, Student, and UNMTemps. The system is comprised of a new modern and engaging Career Site where prospective employees can search and apply for jobs.  It will also feature an internal Career Center where current UNM employees can search and apply for different positions. The improved site also offers a hiring and onboarding process for departments and their employment area transaction centers to more effectively process hires.

“UNMJobs 2.0 strives to meet Goal One of the UNM Strategic Plan, which is to Become a Destination University,” said Dorothy Anderson, vice president for the Division of Human Resources. “A modern application and hiring system puts our best foot forward in showcasing what UNM has to offer as a competitive, top choice employer.”

Training for department users of the new system became available via Learning Central on March 15.
