Information Technologies (IT) and MathWorks will co-sponsor a free MatLab and Simulinks seminar Tuesday, Sept. 20 in the Student Union Building, Ballroom C. The seminar will feature two separate sessions at 8:30 a.m. and also 1 p.m. The first presentation, Technical Computing with MatLab, details methods on how to use MatLab and its add-on products to develop algorithms and perform numeric computation. The second session, Workflow Featuring Object-Oriented Programming in MatLab, details different ways to solve engineering and scientific problems, as well as how the MathWorks tools compliment MatLab.
Students and faculty, including engineering, computer science, business, mathematics, physics and other science fields, are encouraged to attend. Attendees may attend either or both sessions.
