KNME celebrates exceptional artistic work in New Mexico through a one-hour television program co-created with Santa Fe Productions. "Landscapes of Enchantment" premieres on KNME-TV on Ch. 5.1 Monday, June 7 at 7 p.m. and on Ch. 9.1. on Tuesday, June 8 at 7 p.m.

"Landscapes of Enchantment" features 10 of the most important landscape painters of New Mexico and their interpretation of the usual and unusual beauty of the state. They talk about their love of this place:  the stark contrasts of the sky, the light and the land; why they came here and never left; and how their artistry takes root in the arid landscape.  The program was narrated by Santa Fe resident actor Ali McGraw. The program's music was provided by New Mexico musicians.
