Len Kravitz, an associate professor of Health, Exercise & Sports Sciences in the College of Education at The University of New Mexico, was honored ith the Specialty Presenter of the Year at the canfitpro world fitness expo recently.
The expo brought together global experts on fitness, nutrition and healthy living. The annual event attracted fitness professionals, business owners and fitness consumers, making it the largest fitness education event in the world.
The event had over 200 presenters that brought their unique style and expertise to over 16,000 fitness professionals, business owners and fitness consumers during the five day event.
The 2016 award winners were:

Beto Perez - Lifetime Achievement
“To be voted the canfitpro Specialty Presenter of the Year is indeed a unique honor as this conference is the largest in the world with 16,000 fitness professionals in attendance,” Kravitz said.
The canfitpro Fitness Professional of the Year Award was presented during the canfitpro world fitness expo closing ceremonies and recognizes a canfitpro certified and practicing professional member who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, motivation, and technical skills and has inspired clients and participants to achieve their goals.
The two categories of excellence for this award include Fitness Instructor Specialist of the Year and Personal Training Specialist of the Year. We also recognized our Volunteer of the Year. The 2016 winners are;
