LoboTHON, The University of New Mexico's leading student-run philanthropy organization, will make their presence known on UNM-Main campus from Nov. 12-16.

On Monday, Nov. 12, LoboTHON hosts game night in the Casas Del Rio Pecos Commons Room from 6 to 8p.m. Students must be registered with LoboTHON to play, and there will be opportunities to register at this event. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, LoboTHON hosts an Open Mic Night at the Villa Myriam from 5 to 7p.m. There will be a variety of local entertainment including singing, slam poetry and more. Villa Myriam is located at 573 Commercial St.

On Wednesday, Nov. 14, LoboTHON hosts a Car Bash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Student Union Building Mall. Students are able to hit a car with a sledge hammer by donating or registering. For $2, students can take one hit at the car. For $5, students can take 3 hits. For $10 or registering in LoboTHON, students can take 10 hits.

LoboTHON wraps up Wednesday night with a Dine to Donate event at the Panera on Central from 4 to 8 p.m.

On Thursday, Nov. 15, LoboTHON hosts a Dancer Appreciation Night in the Hokona Cellar from 7 to 9 p.m. Chick-fil-A and cheese pizza will be provided.

LoboTHON is a student-run philanthropy organization at The University of New Mexico. This organization donates 100 percent of money raised to the UNM’s Children’s Hospital.

Last year, LoboTHON exceeded their goal of $66,000 and instead raised $95,432.18. This year, LoboTHON has set a new overall goal of raising $100,000 for the 2018-2019 school year.
