It’s the time of year where cooler temperatures and shorter days prompt New Mexicans to get creative with their outdoor activities. Now that daylight saving is over, The University of New Mexico (UNM) Golf Courses will be operating under lower, off-peak season rates.

“So far, we’re having a mild November, and the cooler temperatures make this a great time to get on the course to hit the links, even for those who’ve never golfed before,” said General Manager Adam Roybal.

The fall and winter are considered “off peak” for golf courses in New Mexico, so the UNM Golf Courses are offering special rates to attract golfers, and non-golfers, to their greens.

North Golf Course rates where Everyone’s a Lobo:

Monday - Friday $12 walking/$20 riding (replay $7 walking/$15 riding)

Saturday, Sunday and holidays: $17 walking/$25 riding (replay $7 walking/$15 riding)

Championship Golf Course rates:

For the New Mexico community:

Monday – Friday $31 walking/$41 riding

For UNM students, staff, faculty and retirees:

With our big New Mexico skies and warm sun, golfing is a great way to be get exercise while being outdoors with beautiful scenery. This fun sport is for the whole family,” said Roybal.
