The University of New Mexico’s Alumni Association wants you to save-the-date for Homecoming 2017 set for Monday through Satuday, Sept. 25 - 30. This year’s theme is Living la Vida Lobo — it’s a time to celebrate relationships and the impact they’ve had on all of us.

Homecoming 2017 will keep with tradition for a week packed with events and reunions, including the All University Breakfast and the Lobo football team taking on Air Force Academy at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Dreamstyle Stadium.

For Lobos who are coming home for this year’s Homecoming festivities, the Alumni Relations Office has negotiated discount rates at four hotels in Albuquerque. For rates and booking details, visit our Alumni Homecoming website.

There is much to celebrate during this year’s Homecoming. Alumni Association sponsored events include:

Monday, Sept. 25 at 11 a.m.: Homecoming Kickoff Rally
Wear cherry and silver to a Homecoming Week pep rally for alumni, students, faculty and staff at Hodgin Hall Alumni Center. Lobo Louie and Lucy will be there to help kickoff this year’s festivities. Alumni-owned and/or operated food trucks will be available to purchase lunch. Faculty and staff will be able to pick up their Faculty & Staff Alumni Luncheon tickets at this event.

Wednesday, Sept. 27 at noon: Faculty & Staff Alumni Luncheon
Full-time alumni faculty and staff are invited to the annual Homecoming Appreciation Lunch. Space is limited to the first 300 guests, so be sure to pick up your ticket in advance at the Homecoming kickoff rally at Hodgin Hall Alumni Center on Monday, Sept. 25. Tickets will be dispersed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Friday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m.: Diner en Rouge
The University of New Mexico Alumni Association invites alumni and the community to its new event. Everyone can rock their best all-red outfit and prep the perfect picnic dinner to enjoy live entertainment and an evening at Hodgin Hall Alumni Center in the Karen Abraham Courtyard.

Saturday, Sept. 30 at 9 a.m.: All University Breakfast
The University of New Mexico Alumni Association honors the recipients of its 2017 Lobo, Zia and Inspirational Young Alumnus awards. The recipients will be honored at the Alumni Association's All University Breakfast. The public is invited to attend.

Saturday, Sept. 30 at 2:30 p.m.: Homecoming Tailgate
The UNM Alumni Association will continue the homecoming party at its annual Homecoming Tailgate. All alumni and Lobo fans are invited to join in the fun.
