Poet Max Early will give a reading as part of National Poetry Month April 21 at 6 p.m. in the Willard Reading Room in Zimmerman Library. A number of poetry readings will be held in Zimmerman Library as part of National Poetry Month in April.

Early, a bilingual writer from Laguna Pueblo, was the 2015 Lannan Foundation Writer-in-Residence Fellow at the School for Advanced Research. He will be reading from his latest book Ears of Corn: Listen which received the 2015 Southwest Book Design and Production in Poetry Award from the New Mexico Book Association and was a book finalist for the New Mexico–Arizona Book Awards. In addition to poetry. Max is also a potter.
