The Ronald E. McNair Scholars program hosts the 2013 National McNair Research Conference at the University of New Mexico Wednesday, Oct. 2 through Friday, Oct. 4. They are extending the registration deadline to Wednesday, Sept. 18, for no additional cost, to those interested in attending.
The conference coincides with the International Balloon Fiesta which attracts people from all over the world, making this the busiest time of the year in Albuquerque; so register early to secure hotel rooms at the discounted conference rate while there is still availability.
Who: Interested students, faculty, staff and all undergraduate researchers from all majors are encouraged to participate.
When: Wednesday, Oct. 2 through Friday, Oct. 4
Where: University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, N.M.
Fee: $150 per student, $175 per staff member
Lodging: $149/night for 1-2 guests/room in the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque.
