The University of New Mexico's Career Services hosts Lobo Networking Night on Thursday, Nov.  8 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in SUB Ballroom. The event gives students the opportunity to mingle and network with nearly 50 employers and employer representatives in a less formal manner. Light food and drinks are served.

Ken Chavez, UNM’s Diplomat in Residence, is opening the event with a conversation on the importance of networking. Students will learn how to navigate speaking with employers, holding food and drinks, and asking questions.

In addition to the evening event, Career Services also hosts a Professional First Impressions workshop earlier that same day at 3:30 p.m. in the Career Services office to help students get prepared on how to network.
