The University of New Mexico Alumni Association proudly prints and mails more than 150,000 copies of Mirage Magazine twice a year. Starting with the Spring 2017 edition of Mirage, all University of New Mexico faculty and staff members who had previously received a hardcopy of the bi-annual publication in their campus mailboxes will begin receiving a digital copy, via email, only.
If the faculty or staff member is an alumnus, they will begin receiving a printed copy of Mirage Magazine to the address the UNM Alumni Association has file. Alumni can update their mailing address, by logging into UNM Alumni Connect, the Alumni Association’s online community. Alumni who do not wish to receive a paper copy of the Mirage magazine mailed and delivered to the address on file but would prefer an emailed version, can update their Mirage subscription preferences by completing the digital opt-in form online.
If the faculty or staff member is not an alumnus, but wishes to continue receiving a printed copy of Mirage, they also can update their Mirage subscription preferences completing the print opt-in form online.
All subscription updates will go into effect for the Fall 2017 Mirage Magazine.
We want every single alumnus, faculty and staff member who wants a paper copy to have one, but we also know that people’s reading habits are changing. Like many of us, maybe you have become fast friends with an iPad or addicted to your Kindle. Maybe you like to read on your desktop or on your phone. And maybe you would just like to reduce your carbon footprint and the amount of paper in the world.
If you choose to receive the electronic version only of Mirage, rest assured you will see the same magazine – great color photos, engaging articles, news of alumni events and
updates on your classmates – only in a digital format with easy-to-use page-turning features. You can read the Spring 2017 Mirage online now!
Updates to Mirage Magazine subscription preferences, for print or digital delivery, can be made at any time by completing the subscription preference form or by logging in to UNM Alumni Connect.
