UNM’s Graduation Task Force Student Engagement Committee sponsors National Student Employment week April 11 through 15. The event is intended to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of students who work while attending college.

Students employed by Student Employment are invited to participate in the National Student Employment Week festivities sponsored by UNM’s Graduation Task Force Student Engagement Committee, Division for Equity and Inclusion, The Unidos Project, Student Union, Division of Enrollment Management and vice president for the Office of Student Affairs.

Beginning on Monday, April 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the SUB, there will be a carnival. Student workers and their supervisors are invited to enjoy refreshments and entertainment such as cotton candy and Nintendo Wii.

Then on Friday, April 15 at noon in the SUB, the Student Employee of the Year ceremony will be held. The awards will honor student quality of work, initiative, reliability, professionalism, uniqueness of contribution, community and campus service.
