The Indians into Medicine (INMED) grant at the University of New Mexico Health Science Center for Native American Health hosts an ITV/Telehealth lecture from Dine College-Tsaile, "Native Medicine as a Complement to Western Medicine" by Dine Traditional Medicine Man, MEd on Monday, April 23 from 4:30-5:45pm.
The lecture will be streamed live, via interactive television, from the Ned Hatathli Center on the Dine College Tsaile campus to UNM's Domenici Center West, room 2112 on north campus, and the UNM main campus. Due to limited seating, main campus students are asked to email NTsosie@salud.unm.edu for the room number.
Dennison is a traditional medicine man and retired coordinator at the Office of Native Medicine at the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility where he coordinated a Navajo traditional medicine program for 11 years. He is an alumnus of the University of New Mexico with undergraduate and graduate degrees in Educational Leadership.
