The Indigenous Nations Library Program, Native Pathways Lecture Series hosts Tassy Parker of the Seneca Nation. The lecture: "An Overview of Depression among American Indian Women: Culture, Content and Critical Consideration for Health Policy," is Wednesday, March 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Zimmerman Library, room 226.

Parker, PhD, RN, is assistant professor at Family and Community Medicine and Nursing at the UNM School of Medicine, and associate director for Research at the Center for Native American Health. Currently Parker is working with American Indian women to develop culturally-supportive depression care in primary care.
