UNM Title V hosts a brown bag presentation , "Navigating Tenure and Promotion: Challenges for Junior Minority Faculty," on Tuesday, Nov. 30 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. in the Student Union Building Lobo rooms A&B.; The event is open to faculty and graduate students.

Tenured faculty will discuss the tenure and promotion process at UNM, with an emphasis on some of the challenges minority faculty face in the tenure process.

Discussion topics include:

What can I do now to begin to put forth the strongest file possible?

How do I balance service and mentoring demands and interests while maintaining a strong research agenda?

What resources are out there to help minority faculty on the path to tenure and promotion?
