New volunteers recently elected to four-year terms on the UNM Foundation Board of trustees include: Larry Abraham, mayor, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque; Laurie Moye, coordinator, Regulatory Project & Public Participation in the System Engineering Department at the Public Service Company of NM; and Kurt L. Roth, New York City, a partner in the law firm Dickler & Roth, LLP.

Also elected to a renewed four-year term was UNM Foundation Trustee Orcilia Zuniga Forbes of Portland, Oregon. Duffy Swan, president, UNM Alumni Association, will also begin a one-year term on the UNM Foundation Board. Swan is chairman of the French Family of Companies in Albuquerque.

Representatives of the University of New Mexico's administration serving on the UNM Foundation Board of Trustees include: University of New Mexico President Robert G. Frank; Board of Regents Chair Jack Fortner, and David W. Harris, EVP for Administration, chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Larry Abraham is currently serving his third term as mayor of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. He is the past chairman of the Mid-Region Council of Governments and Metropolitan Transportation Board and current chair of the Rio Metro Transit Board. He is a native New Mexican entrepreneur with more than a dozen start-up businesses as a retailer, general contractor, banker and realtor.

Abraham earned a business administration degree from UNM in 1976, was a 2012 inductee into the Anderson School Hall of Fame and received the distinguished UNM Alumni Zia Award in 2011. In addition to service on numerous local boards, Abraham is past president of the UNM Lobo Club and a founding member of the UNM's Tom L. Popejoy Society.

Laurie Moye is coordinator for the Regulatory Project & Public Participation in the System Engineering Department at the Public Service Company of NM. Her volunteer work includes numerous local boards, and she has served on the boards of Stephens College Board of Trustees as well as their Alumnae Association Board.

Moye, earned a bachelor's degree (1974) and Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning from UNM (1982), is a founding member and past president of the UNM School of Architecture and Planning's Alumni Association, and led the chapter fundraising campaign for George Pearl Hall. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the UNM Alumni Association, Lobos for Legislation committee and is active on the Long Range Strategic Planning committee.

Kurt L. Roth is a partner in Dickler & Roth, LLP a New York City law firm specializing in residential real estate transactions and litigation. He has been in practice for 26 years, has been licensed in New Mexico for 15 years, and is a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association as well as the New Mexico Bar Association.

Roth received his BA in Political Science from UNM in 1977 and his JD from New York Law School in 1984. He belongs to the Lobo Club, the Sixth Man Club, and the Tom L. Popejoy Society.

D.F. "Duffy" Swan is Chairman of the French Family of Companies. He earned a BA in Political Science from UNM in 1968, and currently serves as President of the UNM Alumni Association. Swan spent 35 years in the telecommunications industry serving in a number of management and executive capacities in the former Bell System and with USWEST, and is the 2002 recipient of the New Mexico Ethics in Business Award.

Swan served two different periods as UNM's Director of Development and President of the UNM Foundation, and currently serves on several community boards.
